Warbird was founded in 2010 as a 1000 sq.ft. facility in the back of a larger baseball academy. We worked hard for the athletes we trained and, in our second year, we grew to 2000 sq.ft. In 2013, we were able to find our own space - our current 7300 sq. ft. facility on Fort Jesse Road.
At our new facility, we expanded our offerings from just strength and conditioning to baseball and softball lessons, small-group sessions, camps, and more.
Founders Dan Blewett and Lucas Cook currently give over 1500 lessons each year, serving hundreds of amazing families in the area. Harold Riggins, long-time professional player, joined our staff in 2016 and has been an amazing addition.
In 2015, we founded the Warbird Senators Baseball organization, in response to parent and player demand. We started with two teams (15 & 16U) in our inaugural year and worked hard to provide an exceptional developmental experience.
In 2016, word spread and we grew to four teams - 15U through 17U.
In 2017, we moved into youth baseball, growing once more to field six teams (13U-17U). It's our continued goal to provide a progressive, developmental experience so that our players are prepared for the rigors of college baseball.
